CÆB makes music for the ones still searching for meaning when the noise gets too loud. The songs come from Caleb’s own life: loss, doubt, addiction, fatherhood, faith and the slow work of becoming. Shaped by church rhythms and real life, they sit between indie-folk, blues and gospel soul, wrapped in ambient textures and darker synth. Hampton writes, sings and produces the music himself and plays guitar, bass and drums.
He also founded the metalcore band Requiem Owns Horizons and composed, produced and performed all of its music. Its song “Dismay” has passed 2.3 million plays on Instagram and Facebook, most of them in 2022. His influences include Matt Maeson, Bon Iver, Sleep Token and Eminem.
The L missing from his name is also the title of his 2023 EP, L. The album Every War I Know followed in May 2026, gathering singles like “Untold”, “Neon Lights” and “The Comedown” into one record about the fights no one sees. Every release connects to The City, a larger story world told through seven recurring symbols.
Recent shows include the 1st Annual Heartland Songwriter Showcase in Fremont and the Tilt 23 Winter Showcase. “Cherry Sky” has aired on 89.7 The River, and his newest single, “Clemency”, came out in September 2026.
